Welcome to the “Residents Link” of the Stevens Plantation Community Development District (CDD). The Board of Supervisors and Staff hope to increase the communications with the residents of this great community through the initiation of this website.


The Stevens Plantation CDD is a unit of special-purpose local government established under the provisions of Chapter 190, Florida Statutes, with the primary function of constructing and maintaining infrastructure to serve the community.


It is distinct and separate from a typical Homeowners Association (HOA) and both entities maintain different aspects of the Community.


This website link has been created to provide residents of the Stevens Plantation CDD with information in areas of meeting minutes, the FY 2008 budget and the schedule for future meetings.


As with any website this one will evolve to include pertinent information, frequently asked question (once we know what is frequently asked) and will be updated to keep the residents as informed as possible.

STEVENS PLANTATION

COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT

The Board of Supervisors of the Stevens Plantation Community Development District will hold their meetings for Fiscal Year 2010 at City Hall, 3rd floor, 1300 Ninth Street, St. Cloud, Florida at 6:00 p.m. on the first Thursday as follows:
                                   
                                    April 1, 2010
                                    July 1, 2010
                                    September 2, 2010

            The meeting is open to the public and will be conducted in accordance with the provision of Florida Law for Community Development Districts.   The meeting may be continued to a date, time, and place to be specified on the record at the meeting.
            There may be occasions when one or more Supervisors will participate by telephone.  At the above location there will be present a speaker telephone so that any interested person can attend the meeting at the above location and be fully informed of the discussions taking place either in person or by telephone communication.
            Any person requiring special accommodations at this meeting because of a disability or physical impairment should contact the District Office at (954) 753-5841 at least two (2) calendar days prior to the meeting.

Each person who decides to appeal any action taken at these meetings is advised that person will need a record of the proceedings and that accordingly, the person may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, including the testimony and evidence upon which such appeal is to be based.

Beginning Thursday, January 31, 2008, residents and guests will see some maintenance activities at the ponds. We are testing the feasibility of hand removing the vegetation, as requested by the residents. As there is more information to report on the progress of this hand removal, we will post updates on the website.
